The "Prestige Records" reference above is actually a link to jazzdisco.org (not Prestige Records) and they as well as "Allmusic" have incorrectly identified George Tucker as the bass player on Ballads by Cobb. An attempt to notify them via email has been made (4-15-15). The back of the album cover lists George Duvivier as the bass player on Ballads by Cobb.

Fresh Sound Records (who re-released Ballads and Sizzlin in 2014 as part of a 2 album on 1 CD release) claim that the recording date of Ballads by Cobb was November 13, 1960.

George Tucker is the credited bass player on Arnett Cobb's album titled Sizzlin' recorded on November 30, 1960: Prestige PRST - 7227
