Bandi Yadagiri

Bandi Yadagiri is an Indian revolutionary poet. He penned the famous song Bandi enka Bandi Katti.[1]

Life

He was born in Venke pally Village,Nuthankal Mandal in Nalgonda district.

He wrote the song on a feudal lord but was re-written for the movie Maa Bhoomi. His role was played by baladeer Gaddar in the movie. He was an ordinary member of the Left party from Nalgonda during the Telangana armed struggle.[2]
