Barkha Singh
Barkha Singh (born 3 August 1992) is an Indian actress and model.[1] She began her career as a child artist at the age of 4 years and has been associated with big brands like Cadbury, Coca-cola, Clinic plus, etc. ever since. She has appeared in multiple national and international television commercials and is also known for her cameos in movies Mujhse Dosti Karoge! (yashraj films),Parineeta (vidhu vinod chopra films), Apna Asmaan, Samay: When time strikes (red ice films), etc. She is better known for her acting in the industry rather than her extra activities. Barkha Singh also is an animal activists, loves travelling, adventure sports and cooking.[2]
Career
Barkha Singh well known for her role as Gia Sen in the show Girls on Top broadcasting on the channel MTV India.[3][4] She also played her cameo role in the serial MTV Fanaah as Vedika. Also, known for her character in the serial Yeh Hai Aashiqui and Love By Chance. She also played the role of Surbhi Varun Shukla in the serial Bhagyalaxmi on &TV. Here she performed the role of the youngest child of the Prajapati family. She’d be an entire fashion diva as well as a pampered child. The character of Barkha was matched opposite Abhishek Malik's role and so they two shared a wonderful relationship.[5] She is also known as VJ Barkha Singh through MTV India.
Early life
Academically very inclined, Barkha Singh is a merit holder in her higher secondary exams in Maharashtra.[6] She is a graduate with Honors in Mass Media from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai and attended classes in Marketing and Business from Berkeley University. Also she holds a master's degree in Sociology.[7]
