Bashkortostan was meant to be one of the Participating countries and regions competing in the first Bala Turkvision Song Contest.
History
Bashkortostan was planning to make their début in the Bala Turkvision Song Contest at the 2015 festival, in Turkey.[1] On 2 September it was announced that the selection will take place in mid-October.[2] But later it was announced that it will take place on 11 November 2015.[3] However, later on 30 November it was announced that they were forced to withdraw due to the current state of international relations between the Russian Federation and Turkey.[4]
