Begonia baccata is a plant species of the genus Begonia in the Begoniaceae family. It is endemic to Sao Tome and one of the largest Begonia species in world. It closest relative is Begonia crateris Exell also endemic to Sao Tome.
Distribution
B. baccata is endemic to Sao Tome.

B.baccata was described by William Jackson Hooker in 1866.
