Ben Dixon (born 14 June 1977) is a former AFL footballer with the Hawthorn Football Club. He was the selected by the Hawthorn Football Club at number 77 as a 5th round selection in the 1994 National Draft..

AFL career

He debuted in 1997 and kicked 282 goals as a forward including a goal to win the game after the siren against Carlton in Round 17, 2001.

Dixon retired at the end of the 2007 season.

Personal life

Dixon, with ex-teammate Robert Campbell, is a co-founder of youth training camp academy DraftStar a school holiday camp program for young footballers wanting to develop football and leadership skills. Originally founded as a school holiday camp held at Assumption College, Kilmore, DraftStar has grown into a nationwide program and in August 2011 was endorsed by the AFL as their Ofiicial High Performance Talent Partner. Camps are run across the country in School Holiday periods.

Family

His father Joe Dixon played a handful of games with the Fitzroy Football Club in 1963.
