Ben Moss Jewellers

Ben Moss Jewellers is a Canadian jewellery store chain based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. As of 2010, the company had 63 stores in Canada.[1] The company was founded in 1910 by Ben Moss.[1] Its current CEO is Moss's grandson, Brent Trepel.[1] After over 100 years in the its diamond business, the company announced in July, 2016 that it will shut down its business operations including all 54 store locations across the country. With a prolong period of weak Canadian dollar, the company has been struggling to achieve profitable sales figures. In fact, more than one fifth of its stores were underperforming over the last couple of years.
