Bhagyada Lakshmi Baramma (Kannada: ಭಾಗ್ಯದ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀ ಬಾರಮ್ಮ) is a 1986 Kannada melodrama film written, directed and composed by Singeetham Srinivasa Rao. The film featured Rajkumar, Madhavi and K. S. Ashwath playing the pivotal roles.[1] The film, produced by Parvathamma Rajkumar under Dakshayini Combines, was received exceptionally well at the box-office and was one of the biggest hits of 1986. The dialogues and lyrics were written by Chi. Udaya Shankar. The plot of the movie was later used in the Telugu movie Maharajasri Mayagadu starring Krishna and Sridevi.
