The Bistrița River (Romanian pronunciation: [ˈbistrit͡sa]; sometimes identified as Bistrița Gorjană) is a right tributary of the river Tismana in Romania. It discharges into the Tismana near Șomănești. It is formed at the confluence of headwaters Negoiu River and Groapele
