Bitstake was a Nigerian-based digital currency exchanger money transfer service and peer-to-peer lending marketplace that provided an online platform to convert digital currency such as Bitcoin into local Nigerian Naira currency. It was founded in 2015 by David Ajala, Alexander Christian and Ray Carlo Danetti[1][2]

On October 14, 2015 the company announced it was shutting down.[3]
