Blaise Godbe (born in Big Sur, California) is an American film director, screenwriter, actor and the executive director of Clarinet Marmalade, a New York and LA based film collective.[1]

Lipman began his career acting on series such as The Office, Weeds, CSI: NY, Hawaii 5-0, numerous Disney programs,[2] TV movies, and acclaimed dramas including Nobody Walks (Magnolia Pictures, Sundance 2012) [3] and The Amateur (Tar & Feather, Dances with Films, 2015) for which he also served as co-producer [4] and the lead role of Keegan Dark, in "The Dark Place".

His short films Another Stupid Day, Dreaming Awake & the Exquisite Doors of the Fractal Self was an official selections at the Big Sur International short film Screening Series.[5]

In 2016, Lipman was named a Film Independent Fellow, invited to participate in the Director's Lab, supported by The Time Warner Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts. Lipman is working with James Ponsoldt on his debut feature film In the Shadows of the Rainbow.[6][7]
