Boris Henry

Boris Henry (born 14 December 1973 in Völklingen) is a German javelin thrower. He has won the bronze medal in the World Championships twice, in 1995 and again in 2003.

His personal best throw was 90.44 metres, achieved in July 1997 in Linz. This ranks him second among German javelin (new implement) throwers, only behind Raymond Hecht.

He represented SV Saar 05, Saarbrücken (Trainer: Klaus Bartonietz). He is 1.93 meters tall and weighs 105 kilograms. He is also a soldier attached to the Mainz sports promotion company.
