Boris Leskin (born January 5, 1923, Chişinău, Bessarabia, Romania) is a Soviet and American film and theater actor.
Biography
Born on January 5, 1923.
In 1937 he was arrested and shot his father.
During the Great Patriotic War - the sapper at the front, was wounded. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star and medals.[2][3]
In 1952 he graduated from the Ostrovsky Leningrad Theatre Institute (Leonid Makaryev course).
In 1951–1980 years - an actor Tovstonogov Bolshoi Drama Theater.[4]
Since 1980 - the United States, was an actor of theater in New York City. Included on the nomination committee for Oscar.[2]
In 2011, director Eduard Staroselsky documentary about Boris Leskin "Bob has been removed. Minesweeper Bolshoi Drama" (with Sergei Yursky).[5]
