Brenda Bence is an American author, senior executive coach and branding expert.[3][4]

Bence is the author of several books including Would YOU Want to Work for YOU?, Master the Brand Called YOU, the How YOU are Like Shampoo personal branding book series and Smarter Branding Without Breaking the Bank. Her books have won national and international book awards and have also been sold in more than 15 countries. Four of them have been translated into Mandarin.

Bence is a member of the Global Speakers Federation and the Asia Professional Speakers Association where she holds the highest earned distinction of CSPGlobal and Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), respectively.[5][6] She is also a member of the International Coach Federation.[7][8] She has been featured by national media outlets such as Financial Times, LA Times, The Street.com,[9] Kiplinger’s Finance Newsletter,[10] Smart Money, Investor’s Business Daily, Women Entrepreneur, Affluent,[11] Par Excellence,[12] Personal Excellence, and Leadership Excellence among others.[13]

She is the President of Brand Development Associates (BDA) Int'l which she started in 2002.[1] Prior to starting her own business, Bence worked at Procter & Gamble (P&G) in the USA, Europe, and Asia and at Mead Johnson Nutrition (then a Bristol-Myers Squibb company) as Vice President of International Marketing, where she was responsible for the branding and marketing strategy for 46 countries representing all of the markets outside the USA.[1]
