British American Railway Services (BARS) is a British locomotive and spot hire company. It is ultimately owned by Iowa Pacific Holdings.
BARS subsidiaries include RMS Locotec, Hanson Traction, Weardale Railway, Dartmoor Railway, and Devon & Cornwall Railways (DCR), which is an embryonic open access operator.[1]
