Brodhead High School is a high school located in Brodhead, Wisconsin, Wisconsin. Brodhead High serves students from the Brodhead community.[1] Its athletics teams are known as the Cardinals, and its mascot, Charlie, is a Cardinal.
Athletics
Brodhead is a member of the Rock Valley Conference.
Football
The Brodhead Cardinals are coached by Jim Matthys. The Brodhead Cardinals Combine with the Juda School District for football and wrestling. The Cardinals have earned 8 Conference Championships 18 Straight Playoff Appearances 4 – Level 2 Championships 3 – State Semi – Final Appearances 1 State Runner – Up .[1]
Volleyball
The Lady Cardinals are coached by Erin Kammerer and have earned the following:
- 6 Conference Championships
- 4 Regional Championships
- 1 Sectional Championship
- 1 State Tournament Appearance
Basketball
The girls basketball team is coached by Brad Pickett and the boys basketball team is coached by Bryan Kammerer.basketball
Music programs
Band
The Brodhead Band is directed by Jason Reisterer. The band performs at the home football, basketball, and volleyball games. They also perform a series of concerts throughout the year.
Guys and Dolls
Guys and Dolls is the Brodhead High School show choir. They are currently directed by Erik Meinertz. The show choir competes in shows around the conference. The plan on going to New York in the spring of 2013 to perform.[1]
Brodhead and the community
Brodhead is a town of about three thousand residents Brodhead, Wisconsin. It has many parks and has a public swimming pool open in the summer. The little town of Brodhead also had the Sugar River running on the outside of it.[2]
