CECOS University Of IT and Emerging Sciences is a Government Chartered University in Peshawar, Pakistan. It was established in 1986. Currently, it offers courses in Business Management, Engineering, Architecture, Biotechnology and Computer Sciences.

History

CECOS Educational Institutions have been source of continuous support to more than seventeen thousand students for developing their careers, especially in Business Management, Computer Sciences and Information Technology since 1986

Engineering

Engineering is the profession in which knowledge of advance mathematical and natural sciences gained by higher education, experience, and practice is devoted to the creation of new technology for the benefit of humanity. Engineering education for the professional focuses primarily on the conceptual and theoretical aspects of science and engineering aimed at preparing graduates for the practice of engineering closest to the research, development, and conceptual design functions wisely, creatively, and effectively for the betterment of human kind.

Being pioneer in the field of Technical Education in private sector we at CECOS have been constantly striving to broaden the educational base in quality and discipline.

CECOS Faculty of Engineering has been constantly working to impart quality education to students at affordable cost. Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Programmes of Faculty of Engineering have been accredited by Pakistan Engineering Council on the basis of its excellent infrastructure consisting of well equipped laboratories, spacious class rooms, well stocked library, state-of-art computer labs and a very competent and experienced teaching faculty, which remains available to students all the time. Some of the highly qualified and experienced teachers from other organizations are also engaged on visiting basis.
