Cacoosing Creek

The Cacoosing Creek is located in SW Berks County, Pennsylvania. It starts in Fritztown and flows northeastward to Tulpehocken Creek. It separates Spring Township and Sinking Spring on its SE side from South Heidelberg and Lower Heidelberg Townships on its NW side. Just above its mouth, removal of the Paper Mill Dam is underway.[1]

Cacoosing is a name derived from a Native American language purported to mean "place of owls".[2]
