The Canisius Golden Griffins men's basketball team, or Griffs, represents Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, United States.^[2] Canisius is a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and play their home games at Koessler Center. Their home jerseys are mainly yellow, and their away jerseys are mainly blue. Coach Jim Baron retired on May 20, 2016. Associate head coach Pat Clarke was named interim coach^[3]

Eight days later Reggie Witherpoon was hired as the Griffs' new head coach^[4]
