Cape Dumoutier

Cape Dumoutier (63°33′S 59°46′W / 63.550°S 59.767°W / -63.550; -59.767Coordinates: 63°33′S 59°46′W / 63.550°S 59.767°W / -63.550; -59.767) is a point which forms the eastern tip of Tower Island, at the northeast end of the Palmer Archipelago. It was named by the French expedition under Captain Jules Dumont d'Urville, 1837–40, for Pierre Dumoutier, a surgeon with the expedition.[1]
