Carol Miranda

Íris Caroline de Mello (born 13 July 1988), best known as Carol Miranda or Caroline Miranda, is a Brazilian funk carioca singer, dancer, model and former pornographic film actress active as a funk music DJ under the stage name Carol Shine since 2013.[1][2]

Funk singer career

Miranda became first known in 2008 for being erroneously portrayed by the media as a niece of the singer Gretchen, while she was actually the niece of one of the Gretchen's ex-husbands;[3] the false relationship led to her promotion as successor to Gretchen's title of "Rainha do Bumbum" ("Butt Queen").[4][5] She premiered the funk songs "Melô do Piripipi" and "Não quero perder o selinho, eu só quero dar beijinho!", and posed nude for the men's magazines Sexy and Vip.[5][6]

Pornographic film career

In 2008 Miranda entered the adult industry, starring in two controversial, extravagant and successful[7][8][9] pornographic films: ostensibly still a virgin, in her first film Fiz Pornô...Continuo Virgem, she only performed oral and anal sex and then in her second film she got engaged in vaginal penetration.[10][11] Months later she claimed to have repented to have lost her virginity this way.[12]

Sexy Dolls

In 2009, along with adult actress Júlia Paes and model Sabrina Boing Boing she formed the musical girl group Sexy Dolls, inspired by the American group Pussycat Dolls.[13][14][15] Despite the initial success, in 2010 Paes left the group, and consequently Sexy Dolls disbanded.[16][17]
