Caroline Klebl (born November 23, 1977) is a yoga teacher [1][2] and founder of Source of Yoga.[2]

Early life

Klebl was born in Germany to parents of Austrian and British American descent. She spent her early years in Vienna before coming to the United States, when she was 10.[2]

Yoga

Klebl began studying yoga in Breckenridge, Colorado. In 1999, Klebl took her first trip to Mysore, India, where she studied under K. Pattabhi Jois.

In 1998 she began teaching yoga. She developed courses and taught classes in Mysore style yoga. She also pursued other styles of Yoga such as Viniyoga and Iyengar. In 2002 she taught her first international workshops in Europe.

Klebl returned to India to continue her studies with Jois, who invited her to learn advanced Asanas in a smaller class setting. Klebl earned a doctorate degree from the India University of Alternative Medicine.[2]

Klebl also developed 200 and 500- hour Yoga Teacher Training Programs. She has trained hundreds of Yoga instructors around the world.[2]

Articles she authored and photographs of her yoga postures have appeared in yoga and spa-related magazines such as: Yoga Magazine,[3] LA Yoga Magazine,[2] and others. She wrote a book on Ashtanga Yoga and produced an instructional Yoga DVD.
