Carrie Genzel (born September 18, 1971) is a Canadian actress, producer and writer. She is best known as an actress, with more than 57 television and movie roles to her credit. She has worked in collaboration with such directors as Cameron Crowe, Terry Gilliam, Zack Snyder, Jon Avnet and Karyn Kusama, as well as such prominent actors as Al Pacino, Colin Farrell, Megan Fox, Amanda Seyfried and Billy Crudup. She is also a producer of television and feature films.[1][2][3]
Genzel is known for her recurring roles in soap operas, during the 1990s, such as The Bold and the Beautiful and Days Of Our Lives, but is mostly known for her portrayal of "Skye Chandler" on All My Children. She also appeared in a number of television series, including such shows as Picket Fences, Beverley Hills 90210, The Outer Limits, Stargate SG-1, Smallville, Married... with Children, Wizards of Waverly Place (as Megan Russo, the Russo Kids' Aunt) and Supernatural. She is also known for her many film roles, including The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, Dead Rising: Watchtower, They're Watching,[4] and Watchmen.[5]
In 2012, Carrie won the Best Actress award at the Los Angeles International Underground Film Festival for the role of Emma in The Ballerina and the Rocking Horse.[6][7]
