Castorama is a French retailer of DIY and home improvement tools and supplies, part of the British group Kingfisher plc. It has its head office in Templemars, France.[1]
The company became a subsidiary of Kingfisher plc in 2002, along with Castorama's own subsidiary Brico Dépôt. Some outlets have been converted or relocated under the Brico Dépôt DIY warehouse format, based on the B&Q Warehouse fascia in the UK. Poland (about 50 stores) and Russia (20 stores), also have Castorama outlets. In Italy, some Castorama outlets existed, but were subsequently sold, and now they carry the Leroy Merlin brand.
