Cedar Community, West Bend, Wis. is the nation's 84th largest not-for-profit continuum of care provider, as listed in the Leading Age / Ziegler 2014 Top 150. Its main campus is located on 100 acres above Big Cedar Lake at 5595 County Road Z in West Bend and includes Cedar Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center, Cedar Bay Assisted Living, Cedar Lake Village Homes for independent seniors, Cedar Home Health and Hospice administrative offices and the Benevolent Corporation Cedar Community administrative offices. The organization has four other campuses:
Cedar Valley Center: Originally established in 1986 as a retreat center on 99 acres near Kohlsville, Cedar Valley added spa services in 2009 and hosts dozens or art classes, business and private retreats, workshops and support groups.
Cedar Landing: Forty side-by-side duplex homes for seniors were completed in 2006 and 27 assisted living apartments were opened in 2008. The campus is located in the Village of Elkhart Lake, Sheboygan County.
Cedar Ridge Apartments: A 309-apartment complex in West Bend for active men and women age 55 and up on 50 acres off Scenic Road in West Bend, Wis. The campus includes indoor pool and whirlpool, a 3,000-square-foot (280 m2) woodworking shop, fitness center, restaurant, gift shop, theatre, deli/cafe, chapel and other onsite conveniences, making it a "self-contained city," according to Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel's Peter Maller.
Cedar Run: Located on 100 acres adjacent to Ridge Run Park in West Bend, this property is home to the Cottages at Cedar Run, a 60-unit assisted living for men and women age 55 and better facing Alzheimer's disease and related memory loss built in 2014.
