Center City Mall is a shopping mall in Downtown Paterson, New Jersey. Bult at a cost of over $100 million, the 320,000 space opened in 2008 in the heart of the city's central business district.[1][2] It is located with the city's urban enterprise zone, which permits merchants to charge 50% of the state's general sales tax rate (from 7% to 3.5%).[3]
Among shops are Marshalls, Modells, Pay Half, Skechers, The Children's Place AT&T. PSEG, TD Bank and other shops and restaurants.[4][1] It includes the eight-screen cinema, the Fabian 8, on the upper level.[5] The mall has struggled to retain tenants in the city with a populate with limited buying power.[6]
Hamilton and Ward is a highly-acclaimed restaurant located with the mall.[7]
