Centropyge deborae is a small, dark blue, pygmy angelfish known from only on location in Fiji.
Distribution
C. deborae is known from only one location in Fiji. Found amongst deep sea pinnacles it was originally thought to be a subspecies of the much wider ranging C. nox until genetic analysis at the National Taiwan University showed enough difference for this to be proven otherwise.
Description
C. deborae is a deep blue fish with a blue/black eye. Its coloration may not be directly visible unless it is kept in a very well lit environment.
Habits
C. deborae is a very shy fish, often hiding amongst rubble and rocks (especially when feeling threatened)
