Cerro de las Campanas

This is one of the most representative places of Querétaro, Mexico. It was here that Emperor Maximilian of Habsburg and Generals Miguel Miramon and Tomas Mejia were shot. This name comes from a legend that some stones in the hill, when struck, resemble the tolling of bells. Today it is considered a National Park.[1]
