The two warbler-finches comprise the genus Certhidea. They were formerly considered conspecific; however, they have different songs, they prefer different habitats, and are located in different areas on the Galapagos. The SACC accepted both as distinct species in 2008. The two species are:
- Green warbler-finch (Certhidea olivacea)
- Grey warbler-finch (Certhidea fusca)
