Chakde TV is the first HD Punjabi TV channel in Canada. Owned by VOIS Inc and headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Chakde TV is classified as Category B and exempt third-language services. Chakde TV produces 80% of content is locally.
Chakde TV received their CRTC license on December 15, 2013 and officially launched in March 15, 2015.
