Chandan Prabhakar was born in Amritsar (Punjab, India). He is a popular Indian stand-up comedian.[2] He was the first runner up in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge 3. He played the role of Kapil Sharma's servant on Colors show Comedy Nights with Kapil. He plays the role of tea-stall owner in The Kapil Sharma Show which airs on Sony TV.
Some of his most popular characters are Harpal Singh (Hawaldar), Jhanda Singh and Raju.[3][4][5]
