Chappetts Copse

Chappetts Copse (grid reference SU654230) is a beech woodland in the Meon Valley, Hampshire.

It is managed as a nature reserve by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust. It does not have any statutory protection, such as SSSI status.

It contains the largest population in Britain of Sword-leaved Helleborine (Cephalanthera longifolia), with more than 2000 plants, [1] as well as other orchids includes White Helleborine, Bird's-nest Orchid and Fly Orchid.
