Charaxes defulvata is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found on the island of Sao Tome.[2] The habitat consists of forests.
Taxonomy
The species is often treated as a subspecies of Charaxes varanes.
It is a member of the Charaxes varanes group. Subgenus Stonehamia (Hadrodontes)
