Charlotte Hope is an English actress. Born October 15 1995. She is best known for her role as Myranda in Game of Thrones and her role in The Theory of Everything.[1]

Career

Whilst studying at Oxford University, Charlotte was approached to play a role in a French film after doing a street cast. She then had the opportunity to go to Paris and from there she got herself an agent and started acting professionally. Her first ever role in a featured film was a Factory Ensemble Woman for the musical drama film, Les Miserables in 2012.[2]

In 2013, Hope played a small role in the HBO fantasy TV series Game of Thrones.[3] In Season 4 and 5 she returned to the show as Ramsay Bolton's sadistic lover and the character, Myranda, was created for her. In 2014 she appeared as a guest on the second season of The Musketeers series where she played Charlotte Mellendorf. That same year she appeared in the movie The Theory of Everything where she played Philippa Hawking, the younger sister of Stephen Hawking (Eddie Redmayne). In 2015 she played a leading role in the film British gangster film North v South where she played Willow Clarke.

That same year, Hope appeared in the music video Beautiful to Me by Olly Murs.[4]

Hope will be appearing in the 2016 films including the period biopic A United Kingdom alongside Rosamund Pike and Tom Felton, and the romantic thriller Allied with Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard. As for 2017 films, Hope will be in the upcoming American drama film The Three Christs of Ypsilanti, opposite Richard Gere.[2]
