China national rugby league team

The China national rugby league team will begin international competition in the next decade. Their large population means that the sport will grow fast. The aim is to have the team play regular international competition by the 2033 Rugby League World Cup. Rugby league has a small presence in China dating back to the 1990s. If the team is successful the RLIF will grant them full membership.
