Sozhiya Vellalar is a sub-caste of the Pillai community from the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The Chozhia Vellalar caste includes sub-castes of Keeraikarar, Kodikakarar and Vetrilaikarar[1]
Distribution
The Chozhia Vellalars were present predominantly in the eastern districts[2] of Tamil Nadu.
