Career

Early career

She grew up in Larnaca, Cyprus with her parents Louis and Sotirula. In 2005, she competed in her first concert in Veliko Tarnovo, winning it. Two years later she moved to Bulgaria, furthering her studies in opera singing at the Sofia National Academy of Music and working in the National Opera and Ballet of Bulgaria.[2][3] In 2014, she attempted to represent Cyprus in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 alongside Mariana Moskofian, with the song "Sailing Ships, Pirates and Dragons", but didn't qualify for the final.[4]

2015–2016: X Factor Bulgaria

Living with her boyfriend in Leeds, England, she participated in Bulgarian X Factor over the British X Factor.[3] After successfully avoiding elimination, she made it to the final. On the final she performed Lara Fabian's song "Je t'aime" and had a duet with B.T.R. vocalist Atanas Penev, performing the English version of the song "Con te partirò" by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman. For her final song she chose "Осъдени души" by Lili Ivanova. She won the show over Kristian Kostov and Darina Yotova.[5]

2016–present: After X Factor

After winning X Factor she was considered to represent Bulgaria at Eurovision 2016.[6]
