The Club de Rugby San Roque is a rugby club that was founded in 1971 in Valencia, when a teacher of the San Roque public school of Benicalap district (Valencia) gathered a group of pupils and created an academy for this sport. Nowadays, the team is in the second regional division of the Valencian Rugby Board and has a squad in every inferior division.

Among its most recent successes, it is notable its promotion to First Division in 2000, being undefeated in the league and the achievement by the junior team of the Promotion Championship in the 2004/05 season.

For more than a decade, the club focuses numerous efforts on its junior players.The organization has consolidate in the Santa María School, Valencia, the base which maintains all its inferior squads, from Under 6 to Junior. On the other hand, in the previous months to the beginning of the school, its instructors begin the recruiting process with several approaches in many city schools.

This process ends when the first children grow old and arrive to the Senior team, as they started when the team began to run their activities in the Valencian field.

The time that is spent training young players materializes with the many calls of players in the low categories of the Valencian rugby team and, in especial, with the participation, also in junior categories, in the Spain national rugby union team, playing international tournaments.
