The wingspan is about 13 mm. The forewings are chestnut-brown with costal and plical metallic-blue lines speckled blackish from the base to about the middle. There is a fine direct transverse silvery-white line beyond the middle and beyond this a fascia of metallic purplish suffusion, the apical remainder of the wing brown-blackish. There is a pre-marginal series of bright pale metallic-blue marks around the apical part of the costa and termen. The hindwings are dark fuscous.[2]
