Colostethus thorntoni is a species of frog in the Dendrobatidae family. It is endemic to Colombia where it is known from the Cordillera Central in the Antioquia Department.[2][3]

Its natural habitat is sub-Andean forest.[3] Little is known about its ecology.[1]
