Contreras Motorsports is a Mexican professional stock car racing team that currently competes in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. The team is owned by Carlos Contreras and his nephew Enrique. The team currently fields the No. 71 Chevrolet Silverado full-time for various drivers. They are currently the only Mexican team in the three national divisions of NASCAR.
Camping World Truck Series
Truck No. 71 history
The No. 71 truck began racing in 2016.[1] Their first race was the Great Clips 200 because they did not qualify for the NextEra Energy Resources 250. Carlos Contreras, Alon Day, Josh Berry, Mike Bliss, Enrique Contreras III, Chase Elliott, Brandon Jones, and Ken Schrader were driving the trucks. The sponsors were NAPA Auto Parts, RaceTrac, Hunt Brothers Pizza, Motul, Menards, Valvoline, Tohmpson Electric Inc., and flwaterfront.com.
JR Motorsports partnership
On October 29, 2016 Contreas Motorsports ran a truck for Elliott at Martinsville;[2] the truck was built by JR Motorsports.[3]
Ranier Racing with MDM partnership
Ranier Racing with MDM ran some races in 2016 with Austin Dillon and Brandon Jones driving. Jones drove at Dover, Charlotte, Iowa, Kentucky and Bristol. Dillon drove at Texas
K&N Pro Series
The team operated under the name of Viva La Raza Racing and fielded the No. 70 in the K&N Pro Series.[4] Their first full time season was in 2013.[4] They stayed in the series until the end of 2015 when they moved to the Camping World Truck Series.

The car made its first start on April 26, 2012 at Richmond International Raceway and its last in 2015.
Car No. 04 history
There was also a number 04 K&N Pro Series car. Not much is known about this car.
