Crank Storyboard Suite is an Eclipse-based graphical user interface builder called Storyboard Designer and a target runtime called Storyboard Engine.[1] The Designer allows UI developers to easily prototype the look and feel of a product and then directly move it to the embedded target for development where it runs on the Engine. The Engine which is optimized for different CPU/OS/Renderer combinations can be run on a variety of different targets.
History and development
Crank Software began in 2007. The first version of Storyboard Suite was released in November 2009. This version contains an Eclipse-based User Interface development tool and a runtime engine for the target system. It has been under active development since with releases every few months.
