Martin Luther King Jr. station is an under construction light rail subway station in the Los Angeles County Metro Rail system. The station will be located near the intersection of Crenshaw Blvd and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. It will be served by the Crenshaw/LAX Line.The station will provide a direct entrance and new transportation to the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza shopping center and Marlton Square's new future medical facility. The light rail line will connect the mall to the Los Angeles International Airport[1] The station will serve the Baldwin Hills and Leimert Park Districts of Los Angeles. It is currently under construction and is slated to open in 2019.
