Cyrus The Great (screenplay)

Cyrus The Great (Persian: Filmname-ye Korush-e Bozorg ; فیلمنامۀ کوروش بزرگ) is an adapted and unproduced screenplay written by Iranian director and screenwriter Masoud Jafari Jozani. This screenplay written based on life of the Persian emperor and legend Cyrus The Great, the founder of the greatest empire of ancient history Achaemenid Empire. Also the screenplay was written in two editions. The first edition of it refers to the time between the birthday of Cyrus to his teenage period and the second edition is about the youth and finally death of the Persian king.

Jozani wrote it in Persian language, meanwhile he has published the first edition of it in partnership with the Trita publication in Tehran, Iran.

Unveiling and Publication

The first edition of the screenplay, unveiled at the Friday evening of March 4, 2016 during an official ceremony in Tehran.
