Damarla Chennapa Nayakadu

Damarla Chennapa Nayakadu was a Telugu ruler of Padma Nayaka of Srikalahasti and Vandavasi who served as a general.[1] The historical city of Chennai is renamed after him.[2][3] They were the chieftains during the Vijayanagar empire and attained full power after the decline of Vijayanagar empire.[4]
