Daniel Hank (born April 27) is an American movie and television producer.

Early life and education

He was born and raised on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. He graduated from Solebury School in New Hope, PA, and earned a B.A. in Theatre and Media Arts from Stony Brook University. While at Stony Brook, he produced live concerts for such recording artists as Cyndi Lauper, Dizzy Gillespie, and Joan Jett.

Career

Hank produced many features, TV series, specials, and over 800 broadcast television commercials including one which won a Clio Award. He's filmed in over 40 states and 8 countries, and is a well-regarded authority on global production incentives.

In 2012, he joined AMC as Vice President of Production, overseeing such critically acclaimed series as Turn: Washington's Spies, Halt and Catch Fire, and The Divide. He also launched pilots for Into the Badlands, Knifeman, We Hate Paul Revere, and White City.

After AMC, Hank became Vice President of Production at Marvel Television. He heads east coast production for all Marvel series produced for Netflix, including Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist.[1]

Personal life

An avid explorer, Hank's traveled to all 7 Continents.
