Early years

Danny attended highschool in Mackay and played a grade for souths until he signed up with Sydney Roosters at the age of 16. After attending an Australian school boys tour in England in November 2003, Williams moved to Bondi with partner Laura, to begin his first grade career.

Bulldogs career

He scored his first try and only try in his NRL career in the Bulldogs Round 6 30-18 win over the St George Illawarra Dragons on 19 April 2008, Sonny Bill Williams making a break and passing for him to score.

Since then he has appeared in many feature articles, and was boasted by Arty Beatson after moving to the Bulldogs to the Roosters as a trade off for Willie Mason.

Williams is currently on the leader board for player of the year for NSW Cup.
