Darbandikhan, or Derbendîxan, is a town and a judiciary in the province of Sulaimaniya, Kurdistan, It is situated within the area of autonomy for the Kurdistan region of Iraq, inhabited by the majority of Kurds. Darbandikhan is located close to Darbandikhan Lake (35°09′09″N 45°47′42″E / 35.152477°N 45.795021°E), and on the border with Diyala Province. There's a drummer group named as a wafay
