Dave Bassett is an American songwriter and record producer. In 2016, Bassett was nominated for a Grammy for co-writing and producing Elle King's "Ex's & Oh's".[1] In 2015, he co-wrote the song "Fight Song" with Rachel Platten.[2] In addition, Bassett co-wrote the song Love Bites with Halestorm.[3] Bassett is also known for writing songs for Fitz and the Tantrums, Walk Off The Earth, Shinedown, Pop Evil, Josh Groban, Idina Menzel, and Daughtry. [4][5]
He has also written songs for soundtracks and TV shows.[6]
