David C. "Dave" Gunther (born July 22, 1937) is a college basketball coach who was the head basketball coach for the University of North Dakota from 1970-1988. Gunther played college basketball at the University of Iowa, and he had a brief career with the NBA's San Francisco Warriors for one total game in the 1962–63 season.
